Nadine Sawyer likes to paint Angels. She paints to transmit, joy, hope, love, poetry and happiness.
Her Angels are depicted in everyday scenes, they might be cooking, gardening, embracing, painting, at the fruit market, hanging out the washing or on the computer. Whatever they may be doing in everyday life they are doing it with a light heart, verve, cheek, impact and delight.
The Angels are at work. They, like us, and Nadine's paintings are evolving.
Nadine's Angels are visual reminders of the more ethereal elements of our and other societies. They remind us that creativity is infinite and inspire us as humans to reach for the stars.
